Upgrading Zoom webinar AFTER creating the webinar

Hi, im planning to upgrade my account to host a webinar up to 500 people, if i create the webinar and then later decide that i want up to 1000 people can i simply pay the difference by upgrading to 1000 or would i have to pay both the cost for the upgrade to 500 AND the second upgrade to 1000?  thank you
