Tax Exempt Account

I'm about to upgrade to either pro or business account.  We met with attorney today to file our 501c3 paperwork, but don't have non-profit status yet.  Can I come back and change the account details for tax exemption once we do?

 Yes, you can change this at a later date. Our support article explains this in detail. Please read this documentation and let me know if you have any other questions.

We are a non-profit org and when I try to verify our tax exemption status it prompts for "a reason for creating this document".  Our options are as follows:

STATE GOV
Purchase will be used by the federal government
Purchase will be used by a diplomatic mission
Purchase will be used by the local government
Purchase will be exempt for public school or college
Purchase will be exempt for telecommunications provide

I don't see a non-profit option.  Can you provide guidance on which I should select?

I'm having the same problems. Here are my options to choose from:

Select a reason for creating this document

Purchase will be used by the federal government

Purchase will be used by a diplomatic mission

Purchase will have taxes paid via direct pay permit

Purchase will be exempt for non-deliverable

I wonder why our options are different? Guidance?
