On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

During COVID, I saw all my clients via Zoom and, as sessions lasted at least 1 hour, I subscribed to the Pro version.

However, I have now returned to seeing clients face-to-face and only one professional colleague via Zoom, approximately once a month for 1.5 hours. In that I actually pay her for these sessions, having to pay the annual fee on top solely for my sessions with her seems excessive. Also, as she calls the meetings & sends me an invitation, can I get away with a Basic subscription as I am only joining the meeting she has called?

Hi @WhiteRhino and welcome to the community! The meeting duration limitation is set based on the account type of the person who is hosting the meeting. In your case, yes you can definitely join her meeting with just a basic zoom plan and still take part in the 1.5 hour meeting she has setup and is hosting. I hope this helps!
