Request for refund - Accidental Annual Subscription Purchase

I signed up for a Zoom trial but forgot to turn off renewal. After the trial period on March 15, the system automatically renewed the annual Zoom Workplace Pro subscription through the Google Play Store, so I would like to request a refund. I canceled the subscription through Google Play and I kindly request that you consider processing the refund as an exception.

I have emailed to support team as well as Submit a request but have not received a response. Where can I track my request.

According to Google's Terms of Service, your past subscriptions can’t be refunded, but there may be some exceptions. See also Google Play’s refund policies.

According to Google's Terms of Service, your past subscriptions can’t be refunded, but there may be some exceptions. See also Google Play’s refund policies.

Thanks for reply my topic. 

 

I'm already canceled on Google Play but I don't know how to refund. Who should I send my request to? Is Google Play the one that will refund me or Zoom?

In your case, Zoom would be the one responsible to issue a refund. That said, it looks like your request has already been resolved through the submitted ticket. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi

On the 26th of March I wrote an email saying I don't want to renew the subscription to zoom. I didn't realize I have to follow a different procedure. So I was charged for another year. I had to go to the website and  try to cancel it myself but it allowed me to cancel the plan only for next year. 
My employer has paid for a zoom work account, I don't need a personal one anymore. Can you please refund me?

Hi, you have to create a ticket for Zoom Support, I did that and I got a response to my email a week or so later saying that I would receive a refund within 3 to 5 business days and they did it on fifth day

Hello

I have the same problem. The system automatically renewed the subscription. I sent an email in March to end the subscription but didn't get any reply. I didn't know I had to follow a different procedure. My employer has paid for a work subscription, I don't need a personal subscription. So I would like a refund, please.

Same thing happened to me, it’s disgusting. I told them I did not receive any email alerting me of my autorenewal and they just kept citing the “terms and conditions” like okay that means nothing, most companies who care about their customers and don’t need to do shady stuff to make money will actually notify people. Who remembers terms and conditions from a year ago?! It’s normal human decency. Ew.
