Meeting stopped in 40 minutes despite I have a pro licensed account

I upgraded my account to Pro, but my meetings always stop in 40 minutes. Why is this happening after I paid for it? Please help me lift the restriction. Thank you!

I am joining the meetings by clicking a Google meeting usually, occasionally from the Zoom app

    Hey @ianaclarke /  Ian.

Humor me please.  Log in and view your profile at this link: https://zoom.us/profile

Scroll down to the long grey "Account" line.  Does it say "Licensed" like mine?

If it does say Licensed, please submit a support ticket to Zoom’s Billing team here and they will be able to assist you.  There have been a very few reports of 40-minute limits being applied to verified Licensed accounts, which can only be fixed by Billing staff from the back end. (I'm a customer like you, with no access.)

If it does NOT say Licensed, then your license is somehow either not renewed, or is no longer assigned to your user account.  If that's the case, I can help you here.

Thanks for hanging in there with me!

Hi, @Jackhan, you need to assign your newly purchased license to your user account. See this web page for assistance:

Same problem for me, Ray. My profile in Zoom says Licensed for our Pro account, but for the past few months my meetings have been limited to 40 minutes. I have spent hours on this trying to rectify it without any success, your help most welcome.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @ianaclarke.

What type of device are you using? What operating system?

Are you joining your meetings by clicking a URL, or are you launching them From within the Zoom application?

@HaroonMuzafar  – I can’t tell if you’re asking a question, or indicating success after trying the recommended article.

    Hello,

Please read the link Ray posted.

I suspect that although you have paid for an upgraded account, you have not actually assigned the licence. Zoom does not do this part for you. You will need to act as the account admin and assign the upgraded licence to your account.

    Assigning a single license

Sign in to the Zoom web portal.

    Click User Management, then Users.
Locate or search for the user who you want to assign a license. (Your own account)

Click Edit at the end of the user row.
    This will open a window.

Choose the User Type to assign.
After choosing the User Type, use the drop down to select the license.
    Click Save.
The license is now applied and you can use it immediately.
    Regards
