I keep getting a prompt to install Zoom Client for Meetings which I cannot download! I am starting to hate Zoom. I don’t have time for this. Help!

    Hi @Lisa Turnbaugh,

    Welcome to Zoom Community!

If you can’t download the Zoom app, you can still join by web browser:

    1. Click the meeting link.
    2. When it prompts you to install, look for “Join from your browser” (sometimes shown as “Join from Browser”).
    3. If you don’t see it, click the small link like “having issues with Zoom Client?” on that page—this often reveals the browser option.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other Zoom related queries.

I’m not trying to join the meeting. I am trying to schedule meetings for the President of my organization.

I see. To schedule Zoom meetings, you don’t need to install the Zoom desktop client—as long as you use Scheduling Privilege (delegate scheduling) in the Zoom web portal.

    What to do:

    1. Have the President (or their Zoom admin) grant you scheduling privilege:
    • Sign in to the Zoom web portal
    • Go to Settings (or Profile, depending on the account)
    • Find Scheduling Privilege
    • Add your Zoom email as a delegate (so you can schedule on their behalf)
    1. After that, you can schedule from the Zoom web portal (no download needed):
    • Go to Meetings > Schedule a Meeting
    • Use the option to schedule
