Hi all,

Any ideas how I can invite an external Zoom Room to Join as a Panelist to a Webinar Practice Session?

Thanks,

Rupert

It appears you just enter the room name instead of an email. See step 5.

I missed the keyword "external".  If you can have the external source try to add the Zoom Room as an alternate host to a meeting/webinar it will display a behind-the-scenes email address for the room. You may be able to use that to invite the room. It will look something like    rooms_sv5ajqb-rlsm_7_eopdmcw@domain.com.

Reviving this old thread to post a solution I came across. You can invite individuals from other organizations as panelists but generally trying to invite a Zoom Room from outside your organization doesn't work. To solve this, invite a user from the other organization as a panelist and once they join the Zoom Webinar they have the option under View (top right) to pair with a Zoom Room. Once paired they can then opt to switch to the Zoom Room instead of their account.

The use case for my situation was wanting to host panelists in the Webinar prior to start time so we could connect their Zoom Rooms and test before going live.
