Unexpected Refund for Zoom Phone – I Did Not Request It

Hello everyone,
I received a notification that a refund of $25.29 USD was processed on 03/04/2026 for a payment originally made on 02/27/2026.
The issue is that I did not request any refund and I did not cancel my Zoom Phone subscription.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Could this be an automatic refund or a billing/security issue?
I would appreciate any guidance from other Zoom Phone users.

    Thank you for sharing this. I haven’t personally experienced this issue, but it is definitely unusual if you did not request a refund or cancel your subscription.

     

    Sometimes automatic refunds can happen due to billing errors, duplicate charges, payment verification issues, or security flags triggered by the system. I would strongly recommend checking your billing history in your Zoom account and contacting Zoom Support directly to confirm the reason for the refund.

    Thank you for your helpful response.

    I contacted Zoom Support and they informed me that my account was deactivated and refunded due to a violation of their Terms of Service. However, I’m not aware of violating any terms.

    I asked them for the exact reason, but they said they don’t have the details and that I would need to submit an appeal to know the reason.

    In your opinion, would it be better to submit the appeal form, or should I just create a new account and purchase a new subscription?
