[Feature Request] Bilingual Text-to-Speech Support for Voicemail and Auto Receptionist in Canada
We are a bilingual organization (French/English) based in Canada. When configuring voicemail greetings and auto-receptionist messages in Zoom Phone, we are currently required to create audio files manually because the text-to-speech (TTS) tool only allows us to choose one language/voice at a time.
Our need: We would like an option to concatenate or alternate French and English within a single text-to-speech greeting, ideally with:
The ability to select different voices or languages within the same audio message (e.g., first section in Canadian French, second section in Canadian English);
An interface optimized for bilingual organizations, where we could easily create professional, seamless dual-language greetings;
Compliance with accessibility and official language standards in Canada.
Currently, combining both languages requires us to make external audio recordings, which is time-consuming and less flexible for updates.
This improvement would greatly benefit all bilingual Canadian organizations and any other users needing to serve clients in more than one language.
Thank you for considering this request!
