Zoom suddenly requires a password for personal meeting

I've been using Zoom for years and since yesterday, it is suddenly requiring a password for others to join. I have my waiting room enabled, and until yesterday, people were added to the waiting room without requiring a password. How can I change it back?

    It doesn't look like this is a good resource since there are absolutely NO answers offered.  I am sick and tired of companies that offer NO phone/live customer service or support.  I am about to leave Zoom for another service.

    Exactly the same thing has happened to me. I have never had a pwd on my personal meeting room - just the waiting room feature and now my invitees are being asked to enter a pwd that I dont even know!

    I have a personal meeting ID and I customized a password.  I'm on Zoom daily.  Zoom suddenly changed my password.  I want the other one back.  Help!  How can I change it back?  Thanks!

    Hey Nancy! It sounds like Zoom recently updated its settings. To remove the password, go to Settings > Meeting > Personal Meeting ID (PMI), and toggle off Require a password for PMI. That should do the trick! Let me know if you need more help!
