: Using Zoom Like a “Letter Boxed” Style Collaboration Anyone Tried This?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with a slightly different way of using Zoom during group sessions, and I wanted to see if anyone else has tried something similar.
Recently, I started running short team activities inspired by word puzzle games like Letter Boxed. The idea is simple: instead of a typical meeting, we turn part of the session into a collaborative challenge where participants build words together under certain constraints (like using letters from different sides or continuing from the last word).
What I’ve noticed so far:
- It really improves engagement, especially in longer meetings
- People who usually stay quiet actually start participating
- It works well in breakout rooms for smaller teams
I’m curious if anyone else has used Zoom for interactive word-based games or learning activities like this?
Also, do you have any tips on:
- Managing time so it doesn’t disrupt the main meeting agenda
- Best features to use (chat vs whiteboard vs breakout rooms)
- Keeping larger groups involved
I know Zoom Community encourages sharing ideas and collaboration, so I thought this might be a fun and slightly different use case to discuss.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!
