How about the Q&A feature. before the last update i was able to access Q&A settings now i can even find it anywhere anymore. it is only accessible using the personal ID and this is loss of my investment right now if i create an official meeting using generated IDs i lose the Q&A feature even when i am the host

    Hi HRez,

Recent Zoom updates have moved the Q&A feature under specific meeting types and account-level settings. The Q&A option is now only available for meetings that meet certain criteria, such as:

    • Being scheduled through the Zoom web portal or desktop client (not instant meetings).
    • Having Q&A enabled at the account or group level by an admin.
    • Being hosted by a licensed user with the feature turned on in their meeting settings.

If you previously had Q&A available by default, the update may have reset or relocated the toggle in your settings.

    How to Re-enable Q&A

    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
    2. Go to Settings → Meeting → In Meeting (Advanced).
    3. Look for “Q&A in meetings” and make sure it’s enabled.
    4.

    5. When scheduling a new meeting, expand the Options section and check “Allow Q&A” if available.
    6. Save the meeting and start it using the generated meeting ID (not PMI) to confirm if Q&A appears in the toolbar.

If you don’t see the Q&A toggle at all, it may have been disabled at the admin or account level, so you’ll need to contact your Zoom admin to re-enable it.
