Setting a Meeting to Mute upon entry

If you set a meeting to "Mute upon entry", can the participants unmute themselves to participate in the meeting?

    Follow-up question... I changed my setting to stop muting participants upon entry, however, it is still muting them. Do I have to cancel and resend all my invites to get that setting to update or is there something else I need to do? Tks!

    Keep in mind, if you change settings on the Settings page, that will be the new default when scheduling new meetings, but has no effect on already scheduled meetings. To change the behavior of an already scheduled meeting, you need to edit that meeting itself and change the settings there.
