Muting person in same room on my end only

Dears,

I often happens that I'm in the same meeting with the colleague direct opposite of me. Because I hear him live I would like to have him muted on my headset, but still audible for all the other participants.  Is there a solution for that?

Best regards,

Mark van den Berg

    Hello!

Unfortunately there is no way to mute a person in a meeting only for yourself.

Ok, thank you for your reply. Do you maybe know if there's a place to drop this as an idea for improvement at Zoom? I think it's a rather simple but very helpful option.

This is such a basic feature.  It is kind of dumb not to implement a mute person for the participant of a meeting
