Hi,

I trying to help a client who uses a pre-created link to invite others to join his meeting every week at an specific time. Apparently, someone else created this link which is being shared with the people that is supposed to joining and every time for the past 4 weeks, the people is not allowed to get in and receives this message: “the host has another meeting in progress” or “waiting for the host to start the meeting”

What the reason for the error could be? Please help.

Thanks.

It sounds like the actual owner/creator of the meeting does not have the Join Before Host setting enabled, does not have the proper concurrent meetings license to run multiple Zoom meetings at the same time, or is running a webinar at the same time.

The first step will be to get in contact with the person who owns the meeting / created the meeting and confirm details.
