Hi,  Please advise, I was part of a zoom meeting in which the host recorded. I have requested a copy of the recording but the host does not want to share the recording.How can I obtain the recording? Thank you 

I'm sharing the recording to my students. Which is the right/best setting to choose to prevent the link from being shared with other people. Thank you. 

I am a Zoom user, planning to upgrade to premium next month so I can host a high school social club reunion. We are all in our mid-eighties and many will need help to upgrade their Zoom software.I have made the upgrade on my PC. I attach a HDMI cord from my PC to a TV in another room for an exercise glass. Previously, the PC automatically transferred the video and sound to the TV. Now only the video is seen and no sound comes through.I need help here. The big issue is for my club brothers. I need to send them step-by-step, detailed instructions (PC and MAC) to upgrade their software and test it. I will schedule a test before our scheduled meeting, which is on September 22nd.I’m hoping for a prompt reply. Thank you very much.ShelN

Hello group ... Has anyone discovered a way to reset the status indicator from "in a calendar event" to "available" when an appointment ends early. Sometimes, it can be reset manually, but it would be great if when a call ended it reset automatically. Let me know.

I want to password protect a meeting saved on the cloud and then share the meeting link and password in separate emails.  I figured out how to record, save and share the meeting with a password, but wither I choose to copy and past the link manually into an email or have the system send the recording directly to the recipient, the password is listed immediately below the link.  This makes no sense to me.  I want to share the password separately over the phone(verbally) or in a separate email.  Is this possible?

When in a zoom meeting I can share a screen but when I hit "stop share" zoom locks up and I  get either "wait for the program" or "close the program". Waiting does nothing...so i have to get shut down and reenter. I've played with advanced share settings and nothing seems to fix this problem. Help please...I'm running a three day event and have to share screens this week 😞

I have enabled the Waiting Room in Account Settings, and specified a particular Customized Waiting Room. In the Waiting Room Edit Options I also checked off, Allow participants in the waiting room to reply to host and co-hosts.I also had updated to the latest version of Zoom before making these settings.However, in a subsequent meeting, the Default Waiting Room displays, not the Customized Waiting Room. Furthermore, people in the Waiting Room can't reply to hosts/co-hosts.Any suggestions? Thanks

I recently updated by zoom because working live was phasing out. After the update my original zoom ID is not scheduling my meetings accordingly. It continues to populate a new ID and password. Even after I've taken all the steps in my profile and under meetings to select "use this meeting ID and password." I'm out of time and patience.  I've followed every prompt under link sent to me by zoom. Anyone relate or have any advice?  

When booking a meeting on someone else's behalf through our Google Calendar, we sometimes get an error saying that the Zoom meeting is waiting for the host. What is a solution? This doesn't always happen.

When hosting a recurring meeting, I open the meeting, participants try to join but "see Host has anothr meeting in progress." Why? This hasn't happened before during the whole year I have hosted this recurring meeting. 

Good morning. Sometimes, when I send Gmails, Chinese characters or symbols appear in the From field to recipients. It seems to happen mostly when I send Zoom invites in IOS. I just tested it and it doesn't appear to happen when I use the web version of Zoom. When my clients see the characters, they do not open the emails or they delete them. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and have a great rest of your day.

When I send out recordings, them recipients can't open them. I have send the link with password - it never gives them an opportunity to put in a pass word. I have also tried to send it by entering their emails but it does show as sent in my emails. How to I get recordings and/or transcripts to people that they can open?? 

I have all my users set to automatically record meetings to the cloud. All settings are identical across users, but two users' meetings are not being recorded. Has anyone else run into this? What troubleshooting steps can I take? 

I created zoom meeting. There is a security saction where you have to choose al least 1 of 3 options and the default one (that I always choose) is "anyone with the meeting password or the link can join the meeting".However sometimes it asks the attendees the put the password in order to join and I don't understand why. I tought maybe it becasue I myself didn't join the meeting yet but that should not be the problem since I made a colleague a host as well when I created the meeting and yet Zoom required a password of him as well.Does that mean the creator of the meeting always need to attend even when other users are the hosts? 

I have dual monitors so that I can have my presentation full screen on one monitor (the auxiliary monitor which comes up labeled Monitor 1) and the participant/host view on the other monitor (laptop monitor labeled Monitor 2) so I can access Zoom chat for questions during Zoom meetings.  But when I share the screen for the presentation, the participant/host view on the other monitor shrinks or disappears altogether.  The entire screen is available.  Is there a setting or something that needs to be changed so that the full Zoom screen shows?  The presentation is perfect on the secondary monitor, I just need to see my host video to do demos and my participants on the other monitor.  Windows 11Lenovo laptopZoom MeetingZoom Workplace Pro

I've been sent an email that says to accept the invite to a meeting in my calendar. I have no idea how to do this as I can see the meeting in my calendar but there is no option to accept it and I can't join the chat.  Any ideas? 

Hello, everyone! Here's a problem, or bug, that I've never been able to figure out. I am a sole owner and proprietor with a Workplace Pro account. For most of my meetings, I have the "Waiting Room Only" enabled, and no passcode. However, every once in a while, I have a meeting with a passcode and no waiting room.  Whenever I schedule a Passcoded meeting, no matter when I do it, every meeting after that has the passcode on it. If, at 11 a.m. on a Monday, I schedule a Passcoded meeting for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, I have to immediately create a non-passcoded meeting, or all the meetings before 3 p.m. on Tuesday will have that passcode! Then I have to schedule another passcoded meeting before my Tuesday 3 p.m. meeting or my 3 p.m. meeting won't have the passcode -- everyone will be stuck in the waiting room. Then, once my 3 pm meeting is over, I have to make sure to schedule a meeting without the passcode so that my

My zoom students from China can no longer access my PM on zoom why? I have been using the same pm room for several students since 2019, everyone has the newest version, I did not change any settings all of them has VPN (virtual private networks) so it can not be blocked. HOWEVER in one day, all of them could not longer access my PM room why? 😞M

I've bought an Amazon fire HD10 tablet in order to do meetings via zoom. The company I work for like to use a virtual background for this, but it says my device isn't compatible ?  They say that admin has removed this from my zoom account but it's still the same problem.. Showing the same message. I've tried everything, resetting, allowing camera access, re-installing, updates etc etc . PLEASE can anyone help please !?  Any help would really be appreciated. 

I attend weekly online classes via zoom. Class participants always discuss the class in the chat box. Lately I've noticed that there are certain emojis in the chat box that will cause animations such as a cakes raining down. I find this to be quite irritating, especially since it will happen several times in a row if multiple people are wishing someone a happy birthday or something like that. I disabled animated emojis in my zoom settings, but it's still happening. I want to be able to focus on my class and not be irritated by these incredibly distracting animated emojis.Please help me figure out how to disable these. Thanks in advance.Edit: Okay so the reason that disabling animated emojis doesn't work is because it's actually the phrase "happy birthday" that triggers the raining cakes. I really need an option to disable this on my end. I understand the desire for people to wish someone a happy birthday but I shouldn't have to see raining cakes several times

Hello Everyone,  Need help regarding attendee report.  Issue : Can attendee will be able to see the his previous meetings (Basic role)? As far as I know as an attendee we won't be able to see the previous joined meetings or pull up any reports. However, is there any alternative option is available? I have an encountered an issue as below.  Scenario : The user is using zoom license and joined the meeting as an attendee with basic or member role privilege.
