AUTOMATIC RECORDING DISABLED, YET STILL AUTOMATICALLY RECORDING

I have "automatic recording" disabled in the settings. I use my mac desktop to log into my account.  That's where I adjust settings.

The actual zoom meetings are launched from my iPad.  They still automatically start to record.

I tried to use the settings function on the iPad zoom app - but there is no place to adjust recording settings.

How do I stop meetings from automatically starting?

Same challenge. No responses at all after a few months??

I have disabled all AI and all conventional recording functions that I can find, yet the "female" voice starts every session with "Recording in Progress". It unnerves my clients. How to disable/silence that feature, please?

Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
Click the Meetings tab.
At the top of the left panel, click your personal meeting ID (PMI).
Click Edit.
In the Personal Meeting ID Settings window, click Advanced Options.
Clear the check box next to Automatically record meeting.
Click Save.

I just figured this out.  If you have previously set up meetings, you have to go into each of them to turn this off under Options.
Click Save.
