Does Zoom Events attendee need a Zoom account?

Hello. Does a Zoom Events attendee need to have a Zoom account?

    Hi @janelstewart_75 @LMID you can attend and also be a speaker/presenter in a Zoom Event without registering for an account and instead use your email to register.

     

    This is configured by the event organizer (they can set whether or not they want to enable guests to register based on email, SSO, or using Zoom account). Or use all the options.

    Hi @LMID 

     

    I believe Zoom Events attendees need a registered login with Zoom (if you require authentication - I think) but they do not necessarily require a paid-license account.

     

    So even a Basic login could suffice.

    I thought Zoom fixed this for Zoom Events?  Please advise Zoom Events Specialist ?? Anyone?  Bueller?
