I just started to play with Zoom docs. I have a few Word files (.docx) that I tried to import. All I get is an error message -- "Import failed. Try again." There's no explanation. What can I do about it?

 

I would include an image and a file if It was allowed in this platform.

Hi MAL-WI, could you please share a screenshot of the error toast you encountered after the import? We’ll reach out to the engineering team to look into the issue.

Hey, @sofix001 . This communications platform says I do not have permission to load images. How can I get the screen shot and docx files to you?

I attached the file in pdf format -- it wouldn't allow me to load the docx. If you can convert it back to docx, you might be able to see the error I'm getting from Zoom docs.

@MAL-WI sorry about the delay and appreciate your patience. I have just emailed you on this - 

Our engineers were not able to re-produce the issue with the files you shared via emails. Could you confirm if any sensitive data was removed before sharing? If so, the sensitive data might have affected the import.

 

Also, with our latest release (deployed over the weekend), we’ve optimized the import feature and addressed several known bugs. Could you try again and see if it worked?

Well that is great but is it better then google docs or is it the same thing as google docs and what is the difference or what do they have in common?
