Advanced templates can’t be chosen...

I'm trying to create a document from a meeting however the "advanced templates" are greyed out and I'm getting the following error:

"Advanced templates can’t be chosen because the meeting transcript isn’t available"

 

I do however have access to the transcript and meeting summary. 

I do have Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion enabled on my account.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @pobrien , sorry for this issue you met. There are several possibilities that could cause this issue. 

  1. During that meeting, have you enabled the "AI Companion" feature, or just the "Record" feature? Currently, the transcript from recording can not be used for content generation. We will support this soon.
  2. To use the feature now, we must have these settings enabled:
    1. Docs content generation and revision with AI Companion (which you have already enabled)
    2. Allow users to ask AI Companion questions about the meeting (Check this link. It's recommended to check the checkbox "Automatically allow access when the meeting starts")
    3. Meeting summary with AI Companion (Check this link. It's recommended to check the checkbox "Turn on meeting summary automatically when meetings start"
    4. Allow meeting hosts to retain and access meeting transcripts (Check this link, scroll to bottom)

(It will only affect future meetings you host)

 

I know they are complex. We already have plans to make the settings smoother. Any further questions are welcome!

have a same problem, already enable all the feature, but the message still the same.

Hi @Ghaziyah9116, thanks for feedback

Having all switches turned on is a prerequisite. For each specific meeting, only if AIC is enabled for that meeting (transcript is stored) can a customized summary be generated based on it.

 

Can you please check this link to see if the target meeting transcript is there?  https://www.zoom.us/recording/meeting/transcript
You can use all of these transcripts to generate content in docs.
