Exporting AI Generated Meeting Summaries

I am testing out the AI features for my organization and have noticed that there is no way to easily export the AI generated meeting summaries from the Zoom web interface. It is great having the ability to edit directly in the web interface, but it would be even better if it was easy to export and store these notes to our document management system when needed. Right now, all we can do is copy and paste to a word doc, which is not ideal. Am I missing something? If not, I'll submit feedback directly to Zoom. 🙂

Hi @bethf

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

As per our engineers, this is already in the making, and the estimated implementation will be later this year.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

You’re right no easy way but I have found you can copy and paste the text from the AI Summary into Word or Pages - then I export from there to PDF to prevent changes if distributed

I just use Fathom note taker, which allows me to export the summary or meeting link in one click. Worth paying for another subscription vs waiting for Zoom to get their act together.

Hello in October of 2026!

Is there a better solution to exporting meeting summaries and or to do items in the year of 2026?

Is copy and paste or buy zapier the best we get?

Thanks,

Mark

You can actually export the AI summaries now as Word, PDF, etc. First, open the summary in Zoom's Doc. Then go to the ... menu at top right, scroll down to Export (you'll probably see the NEW banner there) and export to format of your choosing.

I completely agree — being able to edit the AI summary in the web portal is awesome, but the lack of a clean export option (PDF, Word, or even direct share to Drive/Notion) means we still end up copying and pasting manually every time. It would save so much time if Zoom added a proper “Download” or “Export” button right there next to the edit controls.
