Hi, I'm trying to integrate Amazon Q with AI Companion.

Pro plan and Custom AI Companion subscribed, AI Companion enabled, I can chat and send message in AI Companion tab both Desktop and Webapp. But I'm don't see the Add (Plus) sign button showing up in order to tag my custom Amazon companion.

Any solution for this?

Thanks

Hello @anhtuanngtr,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

To integrate Amazon Q with AI Companion, ensure:

  1. The "Allow AI Companion to perform tasks in third-party apps" toggle is enabled in the Zoom web portal under Account Settings > AI Companion tab. Admin privileges are required for step 1.
  2. After enabling, access the AI Companion panel in the Zoom desktop app and use the add button to explore and connect Amazon Q.

Hi MGSR, thanks for your response. It's my mistake not assigning add-on license to the user. The button shown up now, but the Companion always respond with "Access to amazon support is restricted. Please authorize the application to continue". What's the problem and how can I solve it? I suppose there might be any permission configs?

You can try these troubleshooting steps:

Reauthorize the Application:

  • Go to the Zoom App Marketplace and find the Amazon support integration you’re using.
  • Click on the app and select “Authorize” or “Add” to your Zoom account.
  • Follow the prompts to grant all required permissions.

Check Permissions:

  • Make sure you are signed in with the correct Zoom account that has the necessary admin or user permissions to authorize third-party apps.
  • If you’re not an admin, you may need to ask your Zoom admin to approve the integration.

Remove and Reinstall the App:

  • If you’ve already authorized the app but still see the error, try removing the Amazon support app from your Zoom account and reinstalling it.
  • After reinstalling, go through the authorization process again.

Review App Settings:

  • Some integrations require additional configuration within the Amazon support platform or within Zoom’s admin settings.
  • Check if there are any specific instructions in the app’s documentation for setting up permissions or connecting accounts.

Let me know if it helps or if you need further assistance.

Hi @MGSR , It's my mistake not assigning Add-on license to the user in User Management. The button has shown up now, but it's unable to answer questions due to permission restrictions. Always respond with: "Access to amazon support is restricted. Please authorize the application to continue."

Any solution for this please?
