My Zoom Chat is not working

Each time I try to type in the chatbox it closes the Zoom meeting. This happens whether I am a host or a guest.

    Hello,
    My name is Brandon. Thanks for joining the Zoom Community! Do you mean while you are in a Zoom Meeting and you click on the button to open the chat window and then try to chat it will close the entire Zoom meeting window or does it kick you out of the meeting entirely and you must re-launch the Zoom meeting or re-join the Zoom meeting if you are a guest?

    Hi Brandon,

     

    Yes, when I am in the Zoom meeting, I can open the chat window, but when I try to type in the box, it closes the whole Zoom window and reopens again. If I get kicked out too many times, I have to request to rejoin the meeting.
