Editing chats not available, even after Advanced Encryption is turned off?

When I set up Zoom for my company I originally had Advanced Encryption turned on. After discovering that content was still encrypted with this setting turned off, and the downsides outweighed the upsides (for us), I turned it off. However, it is still not possible to edit chats in channels created before I turned the setting off. Some of these chats are the busiest and most important ones, so this limitation is a bit annoying.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hey @yangmusa, you can't edit messages if your admin enabled advanced encryption for chat

As I mentioned in my first post - I set up Zoom, I'm the admin. I turned advanced encryption off - but editing is still not possible in channels created before I turned advanced encryption off.

I recently had geeks tweak my Zoom account, and prior to tweak, I could login as host (under HQ’s account) and get the Meeting ID for upcoming meetings to send to members. I now get a prompt that says: “enhanced encryption is on,” and I can no longer get Meeting ID. And, geeks can’t change it back. Help, please. (I’m not tech savvy.)
