Accessing chat history

Please tell me there is a way to access chat history if I didn't check the SAVE CHAT box when I started a chat in a meeting. Zoom used to automatically send your chat history after the meeting ended, I didn't know this had changed. It is not at all intuitive. There has to be a backdoor, right?

    Hi @ap1323 - Thank you for adding the 'Save Chat' option to the top of the chat box! Could you please verify that both you and your team members are connected to the same network and are using the latest version of the Zoom ?

    In your scenario, if you didn't save the chat history during the meeting itself, there's no built-in way to access it later.

    I have auto-save chat enabled in my settings and cannot get chats to save unless I am recording. Am I missing something? I have colleagues who are able to do this and have their settings exactly the same as mine. They are given an option with three dots at the top of their chat box to "save chat" and I am not.

      I cannot find the Chat History tab where it supposed to be. I followed the instructions - towards reports -> User Activity Reports tab -> then i don't have the chat history tab there.... even though i set the "save chat" setting a long time ago.

      I am trying to find the chat from a webminar.
