how to change chat history

Hello I need someone helps if anyone can
I was looking threw my zoom and notice that i have a thing that said 1 year messages have been deleting and said i choose those setting but i dont remember choosing those so two questions A) how do change my chat history so old messages dont delete and B) how do i get those messages back

@finley2 - If you are on a paid Zoom account and you have access to the Web Admin portal, then navigate to Account Management > Account Settings > Team Chat tab.  Scroll to the bottom to change your account settings.
But if messages deleted after 1 year, it sounds like you may be on the free version since that is the default for free accounts.  Paid account defaults are 2 years.
Messages are purged at that date and time from servers - you will not be able to recover them.
