Zapier for Team Chat

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the help!

We want to read every messages sent into a channel in Zoom Team Chat, whether it's from our teams' accounts or external users that we invite to Zoom Team Chat channel.

However, it seems the Zapier can only read messages sent by account integrated into the Zapier (meaning, we won't be able to read messages from External Users that doesn't belong into our groups/orgs). 

Is there a better way to approach this? As the trigger in Zapier is very limited to the account connected. Our main purposes will be to pass the messages sent by these users but the first trigger doesn't even work for external users or non-connected accounts (not connected to Zapier). Thank you.

Hey, I’ve run into similar limitations with Zapier on external user messages. One workaround might be using Zoom’s API directly to pull messages from the channel, then passing them to Zapier or another automation tool. It’s a bit more technical but gives you full access to all messages regardless of user accounts. Hope that helps.
