Since updating the Zoom app for my Chromebook, I no longer get the active speaker on the first screen.
I attend 12 step meetings on Zoom and one of my meetings has over 100 participants. currently I have to search through up to 8 pages to find the speaker. Can anyone help?

Hi, @Celelater – that’s what Speaker View is for! One thing you can do is “pin” the current speaker, which initially puts them in Speaker View, but if you change to Gallery View, they stay at the top of the order.
A better option is for the Zoom Host to Spotlight the currently assigned speakers, and they’ll be moved to the top of the list. This does require someone to be actively managing the Spotlighted List, but it’s not difficult.

The spotlight should be automatic or a choice for attendees. I've been in many meetings and it is difficult to track the speaker in gallery view for large meetings.
