Unable to send messges in Zoom team chat in a browser

When I try to send a message in any team chat channel from my browser I get an error. I've tried this in both Chrome and Firefox and both have the same problem.

The error appears in the chat window below my message with Retry and Delete links. It says:

> Message could not be sent  Retry  Delete

Could I get some help fixing this?
