When I set a contact to notify me when avalible, I get no notifications that my contact is avalible. Maybe it's that I'm not signed in so I get no notifications? Is there a place where zoom gives you your notifications? How will zoom notify me when someone is avalible? Do I have to be signed in? Can anyone answer these questions? I will really appreciate if you can answer my question.

When you set a contact to alert you when they are available, you also need to be signed-in to your account, as the notification will appear there. If you are not signed-in to the app, Zoom won't be able to notify you by other means.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any further questions. Otherwise, make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.

When I asked "How does Zoom notify you when a contact you set to "Notify when available" becomes available?", I was sent to this answer posted on 2022-12-13 11:04 AM by Bort. While his response: "you also need to be signed-in to your account, as the notification will appear there" is relevant, it does not answer the question of HOW the notification will be made. Bort further states that: "If you are not signed-in to the app, Zoom won't be able to notify you by other means. " What I was looking for was, by what other means the notification will be made. Since this answer was unobtainable through the Zoom Community, I had to perform my own test of the function.
When I set one of my contacts, who was currently offline, to "Notify when available", then asked her to log in, I got the information I was asking for. A small white rectangular window containing the blue Zoom logo and the name of the contact I was looking to be notified about, appeared at the bottom right of my screen, accompanied by a small 'ding' sound from my speaker. THAT was the information I wanted so that I would know what to expect when one of my contacts came available at a time unknown to me. I hope this clarification helps the next person understand what will actually occur when they have a contact log in after setting them to to "Notify when available". It IS a very useful feature. Thanks, Zoom!
