Hosting a meeting

I recently purchased Zoom and set up recurring meetings. I thought I would test it but when one participant tried to go in, it said I was in another meeting and they can't get in. Also, it gave me the option to leave the meeting but not end the meeting. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @judymaryanne

Were you in the meeting when your participant tried to join?

How did you start the meeting?

Yes I was in the meeting but apparently I had a meeting open that I didn't know I had. When I checked the meetings, there were several I had to delete ...not sure how they were put on there because they even had the wrong times. Hopefully this has cleared it up and I now know the proper way to start a meeting. I'm very new to this and am just learning LOL. Thank you so much for your response! 🙂
