Display Names Removal?

How do I remove the participants' name from the video box in bottom left hand corner in Zoom? I don't want the person's name to show within the recording. The latest version of Zoom won't allow me to remove the name like the previous version even I un-click it in the Zoom settings. I'm using the free version.

I have the same question... I have gone to SETTINGS>RECORDING and

unchecked Add timestamp to the recoding
unchecked Display names in the recording

Names still display.

Are you recording locally to your computer or do the cloud? If recording locally, I had to go into the settings in my Zoom desktop app, click Recording, and then uncheck "Display participants' names in the recording."

If recording to the cloud, what @patcummi said should work.

Yes recording to local but I already unchecked "Display participants' names in the recording." and it still didn't work. As the above poster also stated.

I finally rolled back to an earlier version of ZOOM and the features worked fine. This is a glitch that Zoom needs to correct.
