Hi team, I am running zoom on Crestron UC-Engine. I am taking three outputs to three displays. One output is taken from HDMI and it is working fine. The other two output is taken from the DP port and is connected to the displays using DP-to-HDMI cable, but the content is not getting streamed. Just wanted to know if there is any settings to changed for taking DP port output. Your support on this will be valuable.

Hello @cponnappa

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here!

For the DisplayPort (DP) outputs, using DP-to-HDMI cables can sometimes cause issues if the adapters or cables are not active (i.e., they do not convert the signal properly from DP to HDMI).

Here are some troubleshooting steps and considerations:

  1. Use Active DP-to-HDMI Adapters:
Passive DP-to-HDMI cables may not work with all hardware. Make sure you are using active adapters, which are required for proper signal conversion in many professional AV setups.

  2. Check Zoom Rooms Display Settings:

  • On the Zoom Rooms controller, go to Settings > Display.
  • Ensure all three displays are detected and assigned (Display 1, 2, 3).
  • You can also try swapping the display assignments to see if the issue follows the port or the display.
  1. Update Firmware and Software:
  • Make sure the Crestron UC-Engine firmware and Zoom Rooms software are up to date.
  1. Test the DP Ports:
  • Connect a monitor directly to the DP port (without the adapter) if possible, to confirm the port is outputting a signal.
  • Try different DP-to-HDMI adapters to rule out a faulty adapter.
  1. Windows Display Settings (if accessible):
  • If you have access to the Windows OS on the UC-Engine, right-click on the desktop and select Display Settings.
  • Check if all three displays are recognized by Windows.
  1. Hardware Limitations:
  • Some UC-Engine models may have limitations on the number of simultaneous active displays or specific requirements for multi-display output. Check the Crestron UC-Engine documentation for supported configurations.

There are no specific Zoom Rooms settings to enable DP output, but the Zoom Rooms app will only use displays that are recognized by the operating system. The key is ensuring the hardware and adapters are functioning and that Windows (or the underlying OS) recognizes all displays.

If you continue to have issues after these steps, you may want to consult Crestron support for hardware-specific troubleshooting.
