Commenting on calls causes my 13" M3 Air to time out in every program

Hello, I've got a really weird reproducible issue with Zoom in Chrome on my 13" Macbook M3 Air

When I try to leave comments on calls in revenue accelerator, the comment will appear to load but it will never post. Subsequently, if I try to load new tabs in chrome or use any other apps like Slack, everything will timeout and appear like I'm having network issues. 

This does NOT occur when I try commenting in the Zoom app itself or in Safari. I've tried a complete fresh reinstall of Chrome to now avail. Anybody else seen this?
