Scheduler... Not sure it's worth it... someone have better feedback??

I've been trying the scheduler trial and I have to say I'm perplexed. I've used Calendly for years. And for my needs, most are handled with the Zoom Scheduler version. But two things that I seem to see that are a pain:

1) I can't have a page where the person can select between a zoom meeting and in person. In calendly I can. And for my type of work, I need people to have that option.

2) It takes FOREVER for optional times to load for someone to select in the calendar!! Calendly loads optional times/the calendar within 1-2 seconds. Zoom's Scheduler takes approximately 45 seconds (at fastest so far) up to 2 minutes! For most people seeing the little "wheel of death" as we used to call it, it meant the page crashed. So I can imagine the clients closing out the page assuming it's broken when it's just trying to load.

Does anyone else have this issue? I've only got 1 calendar (my ical) attached. It's the only calendar I use for everything. And as I said, Calendly will load the page in a second or two, but a minute or 2 can be perceived as a crashed page and it's rather annoying. ZOOM PEEPS, Any help??? Or is that just how Zoom plans to have this product run?

Sincerely,

Hopeful but not hooked yet.

I'm finding it somewhat glitchy also. I've never had a digital scheduler but since we were already paying for Zoom I thought I'd keep everything in one place but...I'm having second thoughts.

1. It does not seem to interface well with Outlook--compared to Gmail. Outlook is the calendar I need to interface with any scheduler I use for this project.

2. Updates to availability seem to take forever to load or don't take effect in all places, despite specifications selected in the filters.

3. Navigating the whole site seems counterintuitive in spite of tutorial videos. Idk. Lots of questions.

Sad coming here and seeing this as I am having the same issue a year later from this post.

Just switched over from calendly and was shocked that it took so long for a test booking I did to confirm. Literally sat watching a wheel spin for some time.

On top of that I got an error “failed to book”, however the email confirmation came through.

Not a good look and instantly thinking of just going back to calendly.

Thought it would’ve been great to keep everything in one place.

Hi @inkedape, we’d like to make sure you get the support you need. With your permission, we can privately share your email address with a Zoom team member so they can follow up with you directly. Please confirm if you approve, thank you!

Thank you but I’ve already cancelled my plan due to the issue being ongoing.

@timgoodwin

thanks for your comments. THis product is a good example of being created becuase of user feedback and comments. It is really catching on within small business and larger ones.

I am creating some videos on how to use it, and as a developer, working on adding some extra features.

Expect some annoucements during February 2026

all the best

John
