Have you tried verifying the system requirements on Android for using the Virtual Background.
Moreover, I would recommend to check if virtual background setting is enabled on your account.

To fix the missing virtual background on a Samsung A35 5G, first ensure the feature is enabled under the "In Meeting (Advanced)" settings on the Zoom web portal. If it is enabled online but still missing in the mobile app, the A35's mid-range processor likely does not meet Zoom's strict hardware requirements for mobile virtual backgrounds, causing the app to hide the feature automatically.
