How do you handle Hindi or Tamil text when sharing documents on Zoom?

I work with multilingual documents and have noticed that Hindi and Tamil text can sometimes behave differently depending on the application, font, or encoding being used.

For anyone sharing DTP or older documents through Zoom, do you normally convert legacy-font text to Unicode first, or keep the original font-based workflow?

Curious to hear what workflow others use, especially when documents need to be shared across different operating systems.
