Experiencing Issues with Pro Account

HI Everyone,

I currently have a Pro Zoom Plan for work and a few days ago, all of my meetings switched to a 40 minute time limit from an unlimited time plan that comes from having a pro subscription. I currently have a valid and active plan, and I am unable to figure out why this is happening so. I keep getting a bug saying I have a basic plan, but on account setting page, it shows a valid pro plan.

I am looking for help on this matter.

Regards,

GS

Hi @infosmartankbiz thanks for reaching out — that behavior is definitely not expected for Pro users.

Here are a few quick checks that usually resolve this issue:

  1. Confirm you’re signed in with the correct account
If you have multiple Zoom profiles (for example, a personal and a work email), make sure you’re logged into the one associated with your Pro subscription. Sign out of all Zoom apps and the web portal, then sign back in using the email tied to your purchase.

  2. Verify your license assignment
Go to Zoom Web Portal → User Management → Users, find your name, and check the License column. It should show Pro, not Basic.

    • If it still shows Basic, your admin or account owner needs to assign the Pro license manually.
  3. Refresh your license status
After confirming the license, sign out and sign back in across all devices (desktop, mobile, and web) to ensure the new status syncs everywhere.

Let us know if this helps — happy to guide you further!
