Hello, @fayeesssafety01! If you can see your virtual background but not your live camera image, let’s check whether the issue is with the background setting or the camera itself.

First, check your video settings in the Zoom desktop app:

    • Open Zoom and sign in.
    • Click your profile picture, then Settings.
    • Go to Video & Effects and check the camera preview. You should see your live image.
    • If you don't, select a different camera from the camera dropdown, if one is available.
    • Under Virtual Background, select None to turn off the background and check whether your live video appears.

If your camera works without the virtual background, try turning the background on again. This can help narrow down what's causing the issue.

    Still not seeing yourself?

Visit https://zoom.us/test and follow the prompts to test your video. This can help determine whether the issue persists outside your meeting.

If you're still stuck, let us know:

    • Are you using Windows or macOS?
    • Does your live image appear in the Zoom camera preview?
    • Does your camera work when the virtual background is set to None?

Share what you find, and we'll help you work through the next steps!
