Docs Overview: sorting option?

On the overview page in my account all docs are listed but in random order.

Is it possible to sort them alphabetically or by date? That would be very helpful

Hi Monika,

I’m glad to receive your feedback regarding the Zoom Docs.

I just wanted to confirm if you’re referring to this page (as shown in the attached image). Currently, the page is sorted by the date you last accessed documents. Could you please clarify when you mention sorting by date, are you referring to the creation date?

We are planning to optimize this page soon to help everyone find documents more efficiently, so your additional feedback would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

@AnnyChen2 yes, I am referring to that page.

When I am thinking ahead I expect having hundreds of docs in some months. That would make it really difficult to find something because you do not remember the exact title or the creation date or the change date.

Therefore I would like to see  several sorting options so that you can choose what might help you the most in a given situation.

Thank you for your  clarifying, @Monika13 . It sounds like if you can filter by the creator and sort by creation time or last viewed time, it might help you find the documents you need more easily.

Additionally, I’d like to recommend some existing features:

  • You can star important documents and quickly access them from the Starred page.
  • You can also try using search, which looks through both the document content and titles.

Hope these features help you find your documents more efficiently! Let me know if you have any other needs. 😊

@AnnyChen2 @AnnyChen2 thank you for your suggestions. I am definitely going to use them.

Nevertheless I would appreciate a variety of sorting options.

I have already created 140 docs. And I am just one month in!

It has already become tedious to find a specific doc.

So in one year from now I can expect to have 1700 - 2000 docs (or even more because I am having lots of plans for new content in the near future).

Hi @sofix001 sorry for my late answer. I am using Zoom docs in several ways, e.g.

  • for project mgt.
  • for preparing my content and my course materialis
  • for the official downloads for my members.
