Zoom keeps freezing then crashing

since I think 2 or 3 updates ago, zoom workplace keeps freezing my camera in the middle of a meeting, and then progressively getting more and more locked up until eventually it crashes. possibly happens sooner if i screen share, but haven't actually ...
