upgrading an existing zoom meeting if the attendance gets too big - does the same zoom login work?

Hi there - I am wondering if I set up a Zoom meeting and we get too many people registered, can I upgrade the meeting to a webinar and still use the same Zoom meeting ID or do I have to change it for everyone who already has the original Zoom meeting...
