I can only host or join meeting from browser since update. Why?

I updated on Tuesday as requested and since then I am unable to launch meetings without going through the browser. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom three times and now reset my laptop too, but it's still the same. Can anyone tell me why this mig...
