I have the same issue. The only thing I found on Zoom is the following.A recurring meeting ID will expire 365 days after the meeting is started on the last occurrence. You can re-use the meeting ID for future occurrences

I too have predominantly recurring meetings with no fixed time and yet there is no way to sort them or list them as I need them to show up in the list.

My recurring meetings are all no fixed time but they do not show up alphabetical or chronological. They show up according to when they were added. Is there a way to change this?
