What I get is three options about which participants can chat with whom. And yes, save chat is enabled in my account, and has been from the beginning. Windows 10. Any idea why this is this way? Thanks.

It doesn't help. In my inquiry above, as you'll see, I said that I have that option already selected. And I've been using the latest version of the app for years now.
