(And FWIW I'm on a paid plan but there's no bug reporting system that I know about either - although, someone from zoom seems to have noticed that other thread.)

This sounds like possibly the same thing as over in https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/zoom-freezes-when-stopping-screen-sharing-on-linux/td-p/208420#M116739 - and, it's been fixed for me (on Debian) by upgrading to the current zoom, 6.2.10....

I've just upgraded to the latest zoom (6.2.10.4983) and this seems to have been fixed (finally). Thanks! I'm glad I won't have to figure out a different platform for the class I'll be teaching soon - I probably would have been forced to use Teams . (...
