Freezes speakers on the iPad and have to use air pods

When zoom meeting ends and If someone hangs up on the zoom meeting at their end..... If I'm on the mtg on my iPad with my airpods I can never hear sound through my iPad speakers since zoom freezes it. i always have too connect to zoom over my air Pod...
