Zoom has given great service to our company while we were customers. Now we want to cancel our subscription, they're not responding to our emails. Anyone else going through this sort of thing?

So, Zoom thinks they can quietly dip into your account for a subscription renewal without warning. Has this happened to you and they refused to refund you? You’re not alone. Don’t let them get away with it.

Here's what you can do:

 

1. Call your bank immediately and dispute the charge.

2. Request a chargeback and have your bank block any further charges if they won’t cooperate.

3. Share your experience here so we can keep track of how many are affected.


If enough of us hit them at once, maybe they’ll learn that shady business comes with consequences. Let’s hold them accountable.

I purchased one license for Zoom One Pro, but now I can't assign the license for user account. When I assign a license to my account, it always pop-up window says "You have exceeded the limit of license assignment for your account. Buy more licenses to increase the limit." Please help thank you.

Refund Request for Zoom Workplace Pro Subscription

Dear Zoom Support Team,

Thank you for your response regarding my refund request for the auto-renewal of our Zoom Workplace Pro subscription. We fully understand Zoom’s policy on non-refundable subscriptions. However, as a charity, every penny truly counts for us, and this unexpected charge impacts our budget significantly.

Given that the renewal was charged very recently and was not intended, we would deeply appreciate any reconsideration of our request for a refund. If a full refund is not possible, we would be grateful for any alternative solutions, such as a partial refund or credit toward other Zoom services.

We highly value Zoom’s platform for supporting our charitable work, and we hope you can assist us in finding a resolution. Please let us know if there are any additional steps we can take or further information required.

I signed up for a Zoom trial but forgot to turn off renewal. After the trial period on April 15 2025, the system automatically renewed the annual Zoom Workplace Pro subscription through the Google Play Store, so I would like to request a refund. I canceled the subscription through Google Play and I kindly request that you consider processing the refund as an exception.

 

I have called to support team as well as Submit a ticket but have not received a refund and they are jumping from one agent to another saying rest assured we will resolve your issue. But at the end of day they say as you have dispute it with your bank that's why there is chargeback and refund was issued but I had provided them my credit card screenshot in which my credit card company has reposted the charge. Till now I had not received any refund. 

Zoom should work honestly and with ethical business practices. Therefore I request you guys to refund the money asap.

Resolved! switch to non profit account

Hello- I would like to switch our account to a non-profit status via tech soup. I t would be awesome to just switch our current pro account over, rather than killing this one and starting over with new logins etc. Is it possible to do that? Thank you

I had bought one year of Pro and when I purchased it, I could not see where to put the coupon code I had from Tech Soup and so I was told by Zoom Support to wait until the whole year subscription was ended and then I will be able to use the coupon code upon renewal. I believed them and tried but the coupon code appears as not applicable. I need to renew my subscription ASAP since I have a recording that will be deleted in a couple of weeks if I do not renew it.

Hi,
My company have been using zoom paid service since March 2021. Since we are a non-profit, we got a certain amount of discount through techsoup. After a while, my account executive advice me to do some consolidation of my existing accounts and ask me to sign a document with an "initial paid subscription term" of 60 months, which is definitely too long for me. I think this is strange as I have never asked for such a long contract, so I emailed the account executive and got a reply:
"You may opt to cancel within the duration of the 60 months, we are just using this standard to cover for the discounts that we are extending to our clients as all the discounts are subject to approval and may change from time to time."  (exact wordings of the account executive, I still have the email correspondence)
 
Everything seems good. However, when I asked to reduce the number of license at Mar 2023, I got the reply:
"Upon verifying we did receive your request after the services had been renewed which is March 3, 2023. Hence for this case we cannot grant your request to have the licenses reduced since its already past due date of your renewal. Please inform us in advance of your next cycle once you want to reduce your licenses, by January or February 3rd for us to create a new quote."
 
So I wait until Jan 2024 and requested the reduction of license again. The account executive replied me for the first few times, and suddenly disappeared after Feb 5, without any solid solution. I have sent countless emails and still got no reply. I have tried to open another support ticket, still no reply.
I am totally disappointed. This is how Zoom treat (and may be cheat) their customers......When I asked for upgrading the license, I got reply immediately, but when I raise some issues I am completely ignored.
I don't know if there would still be any help by posting here, desperately hoping for someone from Zoom to tell me what I can do......
