I am writing to figure out how to have my meeting attendees access the whiteboard's toolbar. It is visible on the left side of my (host) screen, but after testing with three different groups, no one can access a toolbar. It makes it impossible to collaborate (and I did select that option as opposed to 'presentation' mode). How can participant's see/access the editing tools for the whiteboard???

 

I have updated my Zoom version and looked in the support/help articles. I found one thread with a similar issue but no specific answer for finding the toolbar (only docking it). Thank you in advance!

ich brauche Hilfe, wenn ich jmd zu einem Whiteboard einladen möchte steht dort immer Ich habe die Zusammenarbeit mit Benutzern außerhalb der Organisation deaktiviert. Wie aktiveiere ich diese? 

 

Wenn ich mit jmd in einem Meeting bi,n können diese Personen auch nie auf dem Whiteboard schreiben.

 

Dies ist erst neuerdings so.

 

Ich hoffe jmd kann mir helfen.

Hi,

I need help. Whenever I try to invite someone to a whiteboard, it always says, "I have disabled collaboration with users outside the organization." How do I activate this?

Also, when I'm in a meeting with someone, they are unable to write on the whiteboard. This has only started happening recently.

I hope someone can assist me.

Can anyone help me with Whiteboard Collaboration? I want to use Zoom whiteboard to teach my online lessons but I cannot work out how to give participants 'edit' access. I've tried by opening the whiteboard in the meeting and checking the 'allow users to collaborate' box but the participant either gets an error message or the whiteboard opens as view only. It's really frustrating as I assume that collaboration is the whole point of the whiteboard?! I'd like my students to be able to write onto it. When I go into my settings the 'whiteboard sharing default' has the access level set to 'viewer' with 'commenter' and 'editor' greyed out. Please help me!!!!Screenshot 2023-10-01 at 15.40.46.png

I am trying to import a simple small PNG into the whiteboard. The instructions on how to do that (https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0058482) say to use the upload icon which does not show and if it does not show to have the admin enable that feature

I still do not see the upload icon in my editing tools, however (screenshot).

If I use copy/paste, it would only allow text, but not a PNG.

I am a music educator and am looking for musical notation, the music template offered does not show near the elements I need, but it would work if I could add my own icons.

I have been facing this issue for two weeks. All the whiteboards I created were deleted. I recovered some of them, but they were deleted repeatedly. I have updated the Zoom version, as well as my credentials, but the issue persists. What could be the reason?

Annotation pencil defaults to the largest size taking up the whole screen

While in meeting with colleagues I will use the annotation tool to markup drawings and the pencil defaults to the largest size that takes up the entire window. I manually minimize it every time, but it takes a while to minimize to the smallest size from the largest. I do not use any key shortcuts while using Zoom. It has been time consuming and a little embarrassing to have happen in my meetings with clients.

We are wanting to use Zoom Whiteboards in our online classes and we are hoping that a link from a whiteboard template will create a separate whiteboard for every user and not one where they all collaborate in the same space. Is that possible? We don'... Show more

We are wanting to use Zoom Whiteboards in our online classes and we are hoping that a link from a whiteboard template will create a separate whiteboard for every user and not one where they all collaborate in the same space. Is that possible?

 

We don't want to have to share individually to each student with over 600 students with multiple classes.

Whiteboard worked fine last week - all those in the meeting could edit the active whiteboard. This morning, only I can (as the owner). I opened it as usual in "collaborating" mode. I've tried creating a new whiteboard. Again, other participants can only view it, but can't collaborate. I checked to see if there was a Zoom update available. There was, and I installed it. Still have the problem.

 

Help! I need to have this working for a convention next week!

refund for my whiteboard subscription

I would like to get refund for my whiteboard subscription. I did not intend to subscribe whiteboard when I pay for my professional version of Zoom! But your layout makes whiteboard subscription as default!
