When utilizing the status feature in Zoom workplace, there is an option to set a custom timeframe for when you select the Do Not Disturb status. However, is there an option to set a custom timeframe for when you are utilizing the Out of Office status? So far, we have not seen a work around to this other than setting your status message to specify your return. It would be more convenient for our team to have the Out of Office status automatically expire upon their return.

We've been using the channel features for a few years to communicate with our agents. Today, no one is seeing messages or replies posted in the channel by other members or admins. I updated Zoom to version 6.2.6 and asked agents to do the same but it didn't fix the issue. I've also checked the settings for the channel and nothing is out of place.
Private chats are working, but using the private channel is critical for us.

Can you make a user in the same organization an external user. We have contractors who have been given company email address but we want external user rules to apply when they are in a channel.

I am not sure if just adding via the add external contact path makes them an ‘external’ regardless of domain.

If it's possible, please describe how to do it. External contractor email: Jsmith *at mycompany. dot com

I was chatting with an external contact but after a week later that's when I added that contact.

It opened a new chat window after he accepted. Shouldn't it merge or continue with the original chat? Why can't I merge it? It's showing 2 same names in my Recents. One with his profile picture in it and one with no picture.  I want to keep the original chat but I also want to see his online status which I can't see in the original chat.

Is there a way to merge it in just one chat?

I have been using Zoom since 2020 and its the best app that worked for me during my classes and meetups during that time, I used to store messages video clips and every small memories that I had in my personal space to save in zoom (our own chat space). After online classes and everything came to an end I had stopped using Zoom in 2022 and had never used it ever since, but did login to a mobile from a PC. Today I finally logged in to my laptop after 2 years of not using it, just to see all my messages and files that were sent to my personal chats not there, I have never faced this with zoom in all the 3 years of my usage. Was this something that happened after a new update or version release? Is there any way to get all those back?

I just started having an issue in Team Chat with my screenshots I take not showing a preview on my screen, and when someone sends me a screenshot, I get Unable to Preview. I can see the screenshots fine on the web app, and on my phone app, but I cannot see it on my desktop app. I have looked at every setting I can think of, but I can't figure this out. Anyone know how to fix this? 

please help me, i was going to check old conversations i had with my friends but messages older than a year have been deleted, even the ones i sent to myself (i used that chat to save things like images) how do i recover them? i tried pressing the "more info" but it just took me to the support page and i cant find a clear answer, i just want my old messages back i always re-read the messages i sent to my old friends because i kinda miss them but now there is nothing at all, im actually going to cry if i cant recover them why does that feature exist and why dont they tell us its there? i would have at least saved the chats but now they're empty

Hello Community!

The Zoom Icon in my task-bar is no longer displaying the number of unread or new chats I have. It was a notification; a red icon with the number of chats hovering over the Zoom Icon. However now the Zoom Icon just blinks when I have unread or new chat messages and I don't always see it blinking. 

1. Suggestions on how to get the number of unread or new chats notification back to hover over the Zoom Icon.

2. Suggestions on other ways to get notified of the number of unread or new chats as they come in.
